Plan a campaign (your race weekend)
Start a team guide 6 of 6
A campaign is a dated layer on your team's message house for a race weekend, a match day, an open day or a kit launch. It switches itself on and off by date, day and hour, for everyone or for some groups, and from its start every member's view, and every member's AI, writes with it. The base house underneath always applies.
Before you start
- You're the team's owner or an active admin, with the Media Centre on.
- The base house written, at least its headline (Set up your Media Centre).
- Groups made, if the campaign is only for some of them.
The steps
Open the message house
In Team HQ, open Media, then Message house. The Plan tab shows a timeline: the base house across the top, always on, and each campaign as a bar on its dates. A bar's colour says where it stands: live now, still to come, or ended. Click a name to read it underneath.
The Plan tab: the base house always on, a live kit launch, and a race weekend for the Seniors group coming up. Start a new campaign
Press New campaign, or copy last weekend's and change the dates. Give it a Name and choose Who it's for: all team members, or switch that off and pick groups. Members in no group get campaigns for everyone.
Say what matters
Write the Headline: one line someone could repeat word for word. Then Always say and Never say. The tabs below hold the rest: Pillars (up to three points, each with its proof), Questions ("If they ask..." answers), Sponsors (which to feature), Schedule and Socials (hashtags, audience notes, an example post and a note for members under 18).
A campaign being written: name, who it's for, headline, always and never say, then the Pillars tab. Set when it applies, and any embargo
On Schedule, choose the dates, and if you like the days and hours, in the team's timezone. Add an Embargo for anything that mustn't be posted early, like results until 18:00 on Sunday; members and their AIs are told the time, and what's held back.
Preview what a member is told
Open the Preview tab, pick a day on the calendar and choose everyone, a group or one member. It shows exactly what applies to them then, base house and campaigns merged. You can also print a briefing.
What a Seniors member sees on Saturday morning: the base house and the weekend's campaign merged, with the embargo.
Check it worked
On the campaign's start day, a member in its groups sees it on their Message House tab, and their AI's post brief includes it.
If something's different
A member says they can't see the campaign
Check Who it's for includes their group, and the Schedule includes now. The Preview tab, set to that member, shows what they're told.
I want to reuse last season's campaign
Ended campaigns move to Archived. Open one there and put it back, or copy it to new dates.
Can I schedule something for juniors only?
Yes: choose their group under Who it's for, and use the under-18 note on the Socials tab for anything that applies to juniors in a wider campaign.
Do it with your AI
In Claude, pick Plan the message house for an event from the exclusively.me prompts, or ask "Plan the message house for this weekend's race at Silverstone". Your AI reads your base house and sponsors, asks about the event, and proposes a campaign with its dates, headline, pillars, always and never say, hashtags, featured sponsors and a results embargo. You preview it in Team HQ and approve it.
Why it's worth it
You decide the message once, on Tuesday. On Saturday, every member's AI already knows it, the sponsors get named properly, and nobody posts the result before you're ready.
