1. The basics
These terms are a legal agreement between you and Exclusively Me Ltd ("we", "us", "exclusively.me"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17458606), registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these terms.
If you don't agree, that's OK — but please don't use the service.
2. What we provide
exclusively.me gives you a personalised URL and landing page at exclusively.me/yourname. You can add links, customise how it looks, and share it with the world. We offer a free tier and a paid Pro tier, and Teams for groups of people (see Section 8):
Free
- Your personal URL
- One landing page
- Up to 15 links
- QR code
- Basic customisation
Pro
- Everything in Free
- Sub-pages
- Scheduled content
- Advanced themes & custom CSS
- Detailed analytics
- Up to 50 links per page
We may change features, pricing, or tier limits over time. We'll give reasonable notice for changes that reduce what you currently have access to.
3. Your account
To use exclusively.me, you need an account. When you create one, you agree that:
- The information you provide is accurate and current.
- You'll keep your password secure and won't share it.
- You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- You'll let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You're at least 13 years old (and if you're under 18, you have a parent or guardian's permission).
One account per person. One username per account (for now). Usernames are first-come, first-served.
4. Your content
You own it
Everything you put on your page — display name, bio, links, images — remains yours. We don't claim ownership of your content.
But you give us a licence to use it
By posting content on exclusively.me, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content as needed to operate and promote the service. This includes:
- Hosting and display — showing your page to anyone who visits your URL. That's the whole point.
- Caching and delivery — making copies for performance (CDN, caching layers).
- Promotion — featuring your page in our marketing, examples, or showcase (e.g. "see what people build on exclusively.me"). We may use screenshots or excerpts of public pages in promotional materials. If you'd prefer not to be featured, let us know.
- Aggregated insights — including your content in anonymised, aggregated analysis (e.g. "most popular link categories", "average links per page"). This data is never individually identifiable.
This licence continues for as long as your content is on the platform, and ends when you delete it — except for aggregated, anonymised data that's already been created, and any promotional materials already published.
Free tier content licence
If you use the free tier, you additionally grant us the right to display contextual, non-intrusive platform promotions alongside your page (such as an "exclusively.me" badge or a small "create your own page" prompt). Pro users don't see these.
To be clear: we will never sell your personal data. We may use anonymised, aggregated data (trends, statistics, patterns) for commercial purposes — this is how we keep the free tier free. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
5. Acceptable use
Your page is public. What you put on it reflects on you and on the platform. You agree not to use exclusively.me to:
- Post content that's illegal under the laws of England and Wales, or the laws of the country where you're based.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or anything designed to harm visitors.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Harass, threaten, or incite violence against anyone.
- Post content that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
- Spam, or use the platform for bulk unsolicited messaging.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or our systems without authorisation.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform beyond normal use.
- Use automated tools to create accounts or manipulate the service.
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules. For serious violations, we may act immediately. For grey areas, we'll try to reach out first.
6. Usernames
Usernames are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to:
- Refuse or reclaim usernames that infringe trademarks, impersonate others, or contain offensive language.
- Maintain a list of reserved usernames (common paths, brand terms, future features).
- Reclaim inactive usernames after extended periods of inactivity (we'll notify you first).
Usernames are not property. You don't own your username — you have a licence to use it while your account is active and in good standing.
7. Payments and Pro tier
Pro is a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree that:
- Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the billing period.
- Prices may change. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect on your next renewal.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If something goes wrong on our end, we'll make it right.
If you downgrade from Pro to Free, your sub-pages become inactive (but your data is preserved). Your root page continues working as normal.
8. Teams
This section applies if you start a team, help run one, or join one. The rest of these terms apply too.
What a team is
- A team (a company, a club, a competition or a race team) buys seats and invites people to join it. A seat gives the member who holds it Pro's features for as long as they hold it.
- A team never owns its members. Your account and your pages stay yours. You can belong to more than one team, and you can leave any of them at any time.
- A team has its own page at exclusively.me/yourteam, with its own sub-pages. That page belongs to the team, not to the person running it, and its address stays with the team if it changes hands. Sections 4 and 5 apply to it as they do to any page.
Running a team
The person who starts a team is its owner, and the owner can make other members admins. If you're an owner or an admin, you agree, for yourself and on the team's behalf, that:
- The team is responsible for what goes on its pages, for the invitations and join links it sends out, and for how it uses anything a member shares with it, including under data protection law.
- You'll use what members share with the team only to run the team. You won't pass it to anyone else without a lawful reason, and you won't keep or use copies of it once a member, or their parent or guardian, takes their agreement back.
- You won't use the team, its invitations or its join links to send people marketing or anything else they haven't asked for.
- You'll see a member's email address only if they, or for a member under 18 their parent or guardian, have shared it with the team. You'll use it only to contact members about the team, you won't pass it to anyone else, and you'll stop using it when a member leaves. When you write to a member under 18 and we show you their parent's or guardian's address, you'll include the parent or guardian. Section 9 applies if you use an AI assistant to read or send those addresses.
- You'll make sharing something a condition of joining only when the team genuinely needs it. A member who switches a required right off leaves the team, and that's their choice to make.
- For a member aged 13 to 17, the parent's or guardian's email address you give us is a real one from the team's own records, never one the member has given you to use.
The owner can hand the team to another admin, who has to accept. You can't delete your own account while you own a team that's still open: hand it over or close it first.
Joining a team
- You join when you accept a team's invitation, or when the team approves your request through one of its join links.
- A team can ask to see your statistics, to manage your pages or to see your email address so it can contact you about the team. Each is separate, and you can switch any of them off at any time. The email address is ticked by default for adults; a team can make it a condition of joining, so talk to the team if you'd rather not share it.
- A team sees your statistics only if you agreed, and only from the day you joined. We keep a record each time a team looks at them.
- When you leave, or the team removes you, takes your seat back or stops paying, your seat ends straight away. You go back to Free unless you have Pro of your own, and Section 7 applies as it does to any downgrade: your data is kept.
Members aged 13 to 17
You can only join a team with a parent's or guardian's agreement. The team gives us their email address and we email them to ask. They can take their agreement back at any time, from the same email, and you'll leave the team. Your account stays yours. The same email asks them, separately, whether the team's owner and admins may see your email address, and whether they may email the parent or guardian about the team. Both are off unless they agree. If they say no, you can still join. We keep their address while you're a member, and delete it when you leave, they withdraw, or you turn 18.
Paying for a team
- A team pays for seats: at least 5, billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Section 7 applies to a team's subscription as it does to Pro, and a team's payments are kept separate from anything its owner pays for themselves.
- Seats you add start straight away, and you pay for the rest of the current period at the time. Seats you remove go at the next renewal, and never below the number in use or below 5. A switch between monthly and annual also takes effect at the next renewal.
- The free month. When we offer it, a team's first month is free: one calendar month, for up to 5 seats, once per person. We take card details at the start. Going above 5 seats ends the free month that day and billing starts. The subscription renews automatically when the month ends unless you cancel before then, and if you do, you won't be charged.
- If a team's subscription ends, every seat ends with it. The team keeps its members, groups and pages, and can start paying again at any time.
Closing a team
The owner can close a team once its subscription has been cancelled. Closing ends every membership and every seat, and the team's page stops working. Its address isn't released for anyone else to use. Section 15 applies to a team as it does to an account: we may suspend or close a team that breaks these terms.
9. AI assistants and the MCP server
You can connect an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another) to your account through our MCP server. This section applies when you do, or when you help run a team and connect one. The rest of these terms apply too.
How it works
- You connect an assistant from exclusively.me/connect and sign in to approve it. You choose Read only or Read and make changes. The assistant can only do what that choice, and your own role, allow.
- You can disconnect an assistant at any time from Settings, and it stops at once. Changing your password or deleting your account disconnects every assistant. A connection that goes unused for a while ends by itself.
- When an assistant wants to change something, it proposes the change and you preview it. Nothing changes until you approve it. We record each change, what it replaced and who approved it.
- An assistant never sees your password or payment details.
The assistant is yours
- An assistant acts as you. You're responsible for what it reads, proposes and sends on your account, as if you had done it yourself, including what you approve.
- AI assistants are run by other companies. What an assistant reads is sent to that company, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to it. We don't control it and aren't responsible for what it does with that information. We send an assistant nothing: it asks us, as you.
- Assistants make mistakes. Check what it proposes before you approve it, and check anything it writes for you before you post or send it. We don't promise that its suggestions are accurate, suitable or lawful.
If you run a team
- An owner or admin's assistant can read what that role lets them see in Team HQ, such as members, groups and, where a member has shared them, email addresses. Section 8 applies to everything it reads or sends: you use it only to run the team, you don't pass it on, and you remain responsible for any message sent from your own email or tools.
- When you message a member under 18 and we show you their parent's or guardian's address, you include the parent or guardian. Follow the safeguarding rules of your sport, club or governing body.
- Messages about the team's work, such as the message house for an event, are team communication. Marketing to members is still not allowed.
Fair use
- You won't use an assistant to do what Section 5 doesn't let you do yourself, to scrape or copy the platform, or to get round a limit.
- We set limits on AI use, and they can differ by plan. A Free account may have a shorter trial and a daily limit. We may slow down, limit or disconnect an assistant that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
- Keep your connection to yourself. Don't share your sign-in or let someone else use an assistant connected to your account.
10. Data and analytics
We collect usage data (page views, link clicks, referrers, geographic data) as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that:
- We use this data to provide analytics features to you.
- We use aggregated, anonymised data to improve the service, understand trends, and generate insights.
- We may share anonymised, aggregated statistics with third parties for commercial purposes. This data cannot identify you or your visitors.
- Pro users receive detailed analytics. Free users see basic page stats.
11. Intellectual property
The exclusively.me platform — code, design, brand, logo (the Beacon), templates, and documentation — belongs to us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our permission.
Your content is yours. Our platform is ours. Simple.
12. Availability and uptime
We aim to keep exclusively.me running smoothly, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. Things break sometimes. We may also take the service down for maintenance — we'll try to give notice for planned downtime.
We're not liable for losses caused by downtime, whether planned or unplanned.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- exclusively.me is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £50, whichever is greater).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms.
15. Account termination
By you
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard Settings page. Your account enters a 60-day cooling-off period — during this time you can log back in and reactivate. After 60 days, your personal data is permanently purged.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. For serious violations (illegal content, security threats, harm to others), we may act immediately. For less clear-cut cases, we'll try to warn you first.
On termination, your public pages stop working immediately. The 60-day data retention applies unless we determine immediate purge is necessary.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or via a notice on the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
If you disagree with a change, you're free to delete your account before the new terms take effect.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If we have a disagreement, let's try to sort it out informally first. Email [email protected] and we'll do our best to resolve things without involving lawyers.
18. General
- If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- Our failure to enforce a right doesn't waive it.
- These terms (together with our Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the service.
- You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else without our written consent.
