Build and change your page by asking your AI

Let your AI do the work guide 2 of 3 Next: Set up your team's Media Centre with your AI

Once your AI is connected, you can build your page by describing it: who you are, what you want people to do, and where they should go. Your AI reads your page, proposes headings, a short text and your links, and shows you the page before anything changes. It can also reorder rows, switch the theme and, on Pro, set up sub-pages, schedules and access codes.

Before you start

  • Your AI connected with Read and make changes (Connect your AI).
  • Your social handles and website to hand, or let your AI ask for them.

The steps

  1. Start with what you want

Tell your AI what the page is for in a sentence or two. In Claude you can also pick the ready-made start, Build or tidy a page, from the exclusively.me connector's prompts. Your AI reads your page and what can go on it, then asks only what it can't work out.

An example request to build a page from scratch, and the AI's question back.
  2. Look at what it proposes

Your AI proposes the whole page at once: a heading, a short welcome, your links using the ready-made Quick add types (so they get the right icons), in the order it suggests. The card in the chat lists each change. Press Open full preview to see the page as a visitor would.

The AI's proposal, with the exclusively.me card listing what will change.
  3. Approve it, or ask for something different

Happy? Press Approve and it's live. Not quite? Say so: "Make the order button say Order a birthday cake" or "Try the violet look". Your AI sends a new preview, and the old one is replaced.

The page after approval, as a visitor sees it on a phone.
  4. Keep it up to date in a sentence

From now on, small changes are a sentence each. A few that work well:

    • "Move Instagram to the top and pause the Christmas link."
    • "Add a heading called Events above my ticket links." (Pro)
    • "Show the brunch menu link on Saturdays and Sundays only, 9 till 2." (Pro)
    • "Make a sub-page called Wholesale with my trade price list and email." (Pro)
    • "Lock the Wholesale page with the code BAKER24." (Pro)

What your AI can and can't do

  • Can, on every plan: your page's header and welcome message, links (including the Quick add types), their order, and the theme.
  • Can, on Pro: headings, text and tables, sub-pages, schedules, access codes, your own themes, and your own sponsors.
  • Can't: change your billing, your password or your settings, or delete your account. It never changes anything without your yes.

Check it worked

Open your page on your phone. What you approved is there, and nothing you didn't.

If something's different

My AI made something up

It only proposes; you approve. Read the card or the preview before you press Approve, and tell it what's wrong. Nothing changes until you say yes.

It says that needs Pro

Headings, text, tables, sub-pages, schedules and access codes are Pro features, for your AI as much as for you.

The proposal expired

Previews wait a while for your yes, then lapse. Ask your AI to propose it again.

Why it's worth it

Most link pages go stale because changing them means finding the login. Yours changes in the same chat where you're already planning your week, and it still never changes without you.
